NOTTINGHAM: Worms e Mulhouse vincono il titolo europeo per Club
I tedeschi del Black & White Worms e le francesi del Mulhouse conquistano il titolo europeo per Club a Nottingham. Nella finale tutta tedesca contro Paderborn, Worms vince una finale thriller con Nick Matthew, Greg Marchè, Tim Weber e Carsten Schoor confermandosi per la terza volta consecutiva.
La squadra francese guidata dalle inglesi Laura Massaro e Luaren Briggs si è imposta nettamente sulla squadra inglese del Newlands.
Ottimo campionato di Davide Bianchetti, l'unico giocatore italiano in campo. Il campione italiano ha condotto la squadra del Vaduz ad uno storico 6° posto assoluto.
3 Settembre 2014 - FASE A GIRONI, 1° Giorno
Iniziati gli incontri del primo giorno a Nottingham con tutte le squadre in campo. Le prime foto di Davide Bianchetti, capitano del Vaduz Liechtenstein, sceso in campo contro l'inglese Adrian Grant, dimostrano lo stile di sempre.

VADUZ : DAVIDE IS A DAD !!!!! "My favourite Bad Boy (well, one of my favourites actually, there are a few others I’m not going to name) Davide Bianchetti has now settle down. YES HE HAS!!!
You probably didn’t think that day would come but my favourite Italian (that, he DEFINITELY IS) is now a dad!
“My girlfriend Julia and I just had a little Eleni, born 25th August, 2.800kg. Needless to say that I haven’t had much sleep over the past 10 days!
“I’m now spending about 3/4 days in Switzerland with my girlfriend, former Swiss number 3, and a physio. I’m lucky enough that she takes care of my old body. Mind you, I haven’t had that much luck with my treatment for the past months I have to say!
“I started to coach in Lichtenstein (that’s where my team Vaduz is coming from) about two years ago, I stopped, but I am now back working there again. I play a few league matches here and there as well, along with helping my Dad with his Marketing/Business Management Company. And yes, I’m pretty good at it Fram! I’m actually very good at organising. Much better than I am at playing squash!
“I have to say I’m really happy to participate in this event. It gives me the opportunity to sleeping a bit, and MY party on Saturday night will be to get in bed at 8pm, and get 12 hours sleep!!!!!”

NOTTINGHAM: European Club Championships 2014
Inizia domani mercoledì 3 Settembre la competizione per Club che assegna il titolo europeo. 12 le squadre maschili e 8 le femminili sono di scena a Nottingham fino a sabato quando si svolgeranno le finali.
Unico italiano in gara il neo papà Davide Bianchetti che guiderà la squadra del Vaduz (Lichtenstein), club dove risiederà nei prossimi mesi.
Le squadre tedesche del Worms e Paderborn che hanno conquistato gli ultimi 4 titoli, saranno ancora le formazioni da battere. In campo femminile le favorite sono le squadre dei Club di Mulhouse in Francia e di Newlands in Scozia.
