Davide Bianchetti perde in finale a Palma di Maiorca
Dopo la grande vittoria in semifinale contro Golan, il campione italiano non è riuscito nell'impresa di battere il tedesco Simon Rosner, n.30 al mondo e n.1 del tabellone. Davide Bianchetti è rimasto in partita nei tre game cercando di imporre il suo gioco di precisione e misura, ma nei momenti decisivi ha accusato stanchezza e calo di lucidità. Lo Spanish Open 2010 viene archiviato con la vittoria del tedesco Rosner ma al nostro campione la soddisfazione di un bel torneo e la vittoria su Golan.

Davide batte Golia Golan allo SPANISH Open
Davide Bianchetti batte per 3 a 2 Borja Golan nella semifinale dello Spanish Open 2010 che si gioca a Palma di Maiorca. Il campione italiano si è preso una bella rivincita con Golan dopo alcune amare sconfitte negli ultimi anni, come le due finali perse del Mega Italia Open.
Davide Bianchetti ha vinto 12-10 nel quinto game recuperando da 10 a 7 e annullando ben 3 match ball.
Golan è uno dei giocatori più ostici del circuito PSA. Giunto tra i top ten si era fermato per quasi un anno per un grave infortunio. Rientrato in attività è ritornato alla grande tra i migliori giocatori del mondo.
Nell'ottimo report di David Vidal viene descritto bene l'andamento della partita che ha avuto anche un risvolto drammatico quando Davide ha ricevuto una gomitata nello zigomo e il match è stato sospeso per 20 minuti per permettere un intervento del medico. Davide vola in finale del torneo spagnolo dove incontrerà il tedesco Simon Rosner.

"I really though the match between Davide Bianchetti and Borja Golan would entertain the crowd, and it really did.
Borja took a good 4-1 and 6-3 lead in the first and he started attacking more and more, but tins came and the Italian scored some cheap points to get the advantage and came back to 6-8. Then it was a matter of concentration, and this time Davide took the game by 11-8 as Golán clipped the tin. Second started and finished in a blink of eyes, it lasted about 5 minutes and it was 11-1 for Borja. The match was leveled to 1-1. Then the match was stopped by an injury break, Borja was playing a forehand and hit Davide below the right eye at the end of the swing.
20 minutes later (and many thanks to my father. He's a doctor and closed the wound with some adhesive stitches) players went back on court. But Borja seemed to have lost his concentration as he lost his length and were attacking to soon. This added to a supertight backhand length from Davide made an easy third game to the Italian as he scored seven points in a row.
It was the same in the fourth, but this time it was the Spaniard who took 7 points in a row and leveled the match 2-2 in games. At this point both players were a bit tense, arguing with the referee quite often. Yann Perrin had a hard job refereeing this match.
It was the fifth, and Borja took the advantage by 6-3, always working Davide with his well-known backhand boast. But the, at 8-4 down, the Italian started to play better and better. It was like found a good rhythm and made rallies longer and longer playing to his backhand again and again. Length and straight drop, as he plays normally.
Borja was working hard at that time, but he managed to be 10-7 up. He had three match balls. First one clipped the tin, 8-10. Same the second one, 9-10. Then a stroke, 10-10. From there it was all quick, a long rally ended in a tin, and a stroke in the last point gave the match to Davide and a place in the final."

Davide Bianchetti in semifinale allo Spanish Open
Dopo aver agevolmente battuto al primo turno l'olandese Bart Ravelli per 3 a 0, il campione italiano ha battuto, sempre 3-0, l'inglese James Snell nei quarti di finale dello Spanish Open 2010 che si sta disputando a Palma di Maiorca. Accedono alle semifinali i quattro migliori giocatori con Rosner contro Perrin e il bresciano che se la vedrà con Borja Golan. Lo spagnolo sembra tornato ai livelli di due anni fa quando era entrato nei top ten. Partita quindi sicuramente non facile per Davide Bianchetti che ha però sempre disputato ottimi incontri con il campione spagnolo.

Facile vittoria al primo turno dello SPANISH Open 2010 in svolgimento a Palma de Maiorca per Davide Bianchetti, che supera per 3-0 l'olandese Bart Ravelli con i parziali di 11-8 11-4 11-2. Nei quarti di finale affronterà l'inglese James Snell.

Il torneo vede la partecipazione di ottimi giocatori tra cui il n.1 tedesco Simon Rosner e il n.1 spagnolo Borja Golan tornato alla migliore forma dopo quasi un anno di stop per infortunio.
